Our so-called leaders have squandered trillions of dollars that could have readied our country for the future in order to preserve a teetering empire and privilege for a tiny minority who hide behind the veils of unaccountable corporations. They have abandoned all claims to the very values that we were led to believe defined America. They have recruited enemies to further justify perpetual war and a state of fear to justify military-industrial-Congressional-complex and the national security state.
