Because I know that I have been lied to by my government, both our Executive and Legislative branches, I cannot turn away from my duty to speak out against the violations of law both national and international. All those responsible for the criminal wars, occupations, torture, rendition, and the destruction of our planet must be held accountable to the people, and their victims, in domestic courts and international tribunals. Because I know, I cannot unknow, turn away, or ignore my responsibility as a citizen for my Nuremberg obligaitons.
