The United States and world are at a critical crossroads. Will people rule themselves? Or, will governments continue to be dominated by corporate interests that profit from wars, hoard wealth, weaken the middle and working class, mistreat the poor and destroy the environment? We are at a tipping point of a great turning where the power of concentrated wealth will end. People have been shifting the power in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe; it is time for Americans to stand up and demand that the United States really become a country of, by and for the people; and turns away from a security state at home, militarism abroad and corporate power dominating government.
