At Freedom Plaza on October 6 and beyond, we will exercise our Constitutional rights to demand our human rights, which were granted to each of us in 1948 when the United States government signed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Health care is a human right. Workers have the right to dignified, just and favorable conditions of work, and to a secure standard of living. All children have the right to excellent education, shelter, food, and a clean environment. Everyone has a right to abundant community life. In October at Freedom Square in Washington D.C., we will reclaim our rights and free ourselves from the devastation - hidden and seen - of fossil fuel dependence, extreme economic insecurity, violence, and a permanent imperial war economy.
