Count me in. I will be there because enough is enough. It is time for ordinary citizens from all walks of life to unite and fight our common enemy (US imperialism and global corporate greed.) I want to live in a world where everyone is treated with respect and dignity, a world where no one dies from starvation or hunger. A world where our representatives in all of our governments put the interests of the people above political self-interest and corporate interest.

Because I think that people standing up for peace is the best way to confront militarism. What else CAN we do?

Why do I care? Because it is 1933 and we are in grave danger of losing our country. We already know that people are basically fearful and uninformed. The rightwing takeover involves suspending our rights and neutralizing anyone who dares to question the loss of rights. As long as we allow the military-industrial complex to push a war agenda we will continue to fight wars so that we can deplete our hardware which of course means we have to replace it.

To set my body and to the task of ending the miss guided foreign policies that have bled our nation of wealth and respect.

I want to live in a culture of peace. I want to see our public money spent on saving life and protecting the earth.
