Washington, DC
Wednesday, November 14

Right after the elections, Congress will focus on budget cuts, and both Republicans and Democrats are lining up to protect the Pentagon from cuts while allowing the ax to fall on key social services and refusing to invest in a clean, green economy to reverse global climate chaos. Join us to tell our elected officials how YOU want our tax dollars spent.

9am-10:30am: Demonstration and breakfast outside the White House
* Pots and Pans Casserole demonstration as a "wake up call"
* Press Conference on the people's agenda we want the president to support
* Free breakfast

RSVP on facebook or email Sam with subject "Action RSVP".

Noon-2pm: Demonstration at Congress at the Cannon House Office Building
200 New Jersey Ave SE, corner of New Jersey and Independence
followed by visits, with our pots and pans, to Congressional offices to call on Congress to cut the Pentagon budget and invest in America
