Occupy 2013 Imminent Justice, a call to recommit to OWS

By Kevin Zeese - Posted on 03 March 2013

THIS IS A CALL TO ALL OCCUPIERS worldwide to recommit to peaceful action in 2013. More now than ever our courage, heroism, and activism are needed.

We recommit to the values that brought us together. We are a voice for the voiceless. We shed light on corruption, exploitation, and greed. We place human beings over profits. We seek health and well being for all of humanity, the earth, and earth’s creatures.

With renewed vigor, cooperation, enthusiasm, and determination we seek to bring justice to the oppressed and to return power to the people. We will defend the poor, workers, women, children, the elderly, the disadvantaged, the foreclosed, the homeless, the sick, and those suffering. We will not turn a blind eye to the suffering of those around us.

It is our right to assemble and to address the problems we face and to generate solutions accessible to everyone. We will encourage and educate others to join with us and we will coordinate with our allies. We realize that we are in this for the long haul and that it may take many generations to get to where we need to be. But, we will get there, together and unified, we can make the world a better place for all.

If you heed the call to Occupy and to recommit to our core values in 2013 and beyond, then join us and make your voices heard!

Take the poll, share, network, and help spread the word that Occupy is alive and well. It is also hoped that through this effort we might create a day of global action. So far poverty / disparity, and moving to amend the constitution are top of the polling for a day of action. Climate change and GMO’s also poll high.
